Hello all. I really should go into the intro forum first, but I had a burning question: I am interested in purchasing the Minoura HyperRim trainer. However, I have a bike w/ disc brakes (Specialized Crossroads Comp), and have been told that if my wheel's rim is not thick enough, the rim trainer won't work. I have ~1cm or 3/8" of rim before it starts to bevel to the spokes (and looks to my totally newbie eyes as able to take rim brakes ). Is this enough rim to use a rim-drive trainer? Minoura's website doesn't have this info, so I'm hoping one of you fine folks at might have some experience to share. Thanks so much!
