I have the CS600 with Power, and I love it, absolutely LOVE it!

I'm not one to just throw that word around about gear, but this system works for me.

The only flaw I've found is with the ProTrainer 5 software, and the display of average speed. If anyone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it very much so:

The average speed for a ride displays correctly on the Polar computer, during the ride, and in the ride summary. Also, it is correctly displayed on the Training Diary box after double clicking a date on the calendar. However the curve displays always list the average speed for a ride significantly lower. Like today where the curve displays 9.4 as average speed, when actual speed was 15.1. Is there a fix for this? I think I've scoured the entire software program to find a cure, but I've come to a dead end.

Is there a different speed value that should be displayed on the graph in order to present the correct average speed for a ride?

Thanks!

I have neither this computer or software so this is a pure shot in the dark. 9.4 divided by 15.1 equals .62 which is the relationship of 1 kilometer equals .62 miles. I hope that helps.

Select Options – Person Properties to adjust a person's detailed user information. Alternatively, you can click the Switch Person button on the toolbar and select Person Properties from the drop-down list.

The settings are targeted for the currently active person.

Sports page

Measurement Units page

Advanced page

Measurement Units
On the Measurement Units page, you can specify the units used for the person in the software. These specifications are person-specific and are changed when you switch the person.

Common Measurements section

To use the same measurement units as the computer's operating system, check the Automatically use measurement units based on system settings box.

You can also personalise the measurement units. Clear the Automatically use measurement units based on system settings box and select alternative units from the drop-down lists.

Good response.

Also the Protrainer 5 updates automatically, but just to be sure click on help>check for updates.

Thanks! You guys rock!

I've looked at the Measurement Units page before, and must have glossed over the button, as I was just looking that it stated mph, and thought it was good to go.

Haven't been for a ride as of yet today, but will try it out this evening, and I'm sure it'll be 100% now, thanks!
