You're a 15-16 y/o?
On the road, spin in easier gears. Motorpace in an easier gear to get used to overspeed. In my limited experience, that's what advice I have to offer.
Also, remember that you're racing in age groups, and the other guys all have the same gearing.

See you in Carson, CA in August?

98 inches!! You will NEVER need to ride 98 inches. If you are 16 you should be spinning. 86 inches maximum. If you are 18, 90 inches is maximum. If you are 30 you don't need to go over 91.8 unless you're the size of an elephant.
