Hey all, my wife is going to the ALA conference in Anaheim in late June and I'm tagging along for a cheap(er) vacation.. I don't want to miss this opportunity to ride a bike up some actual hills, as opposed to the steep but short grades we have around here, but bike rental is way more than I want to pay, and flying a bike out is just ick.
I was wondering if anyone on the board had a spare bike that they wouldn't mind renting to me for a more reasonable price than the $80 a day bike shops seem to want. I'd need it sometime in the zone from the 26th through the 29th.
I take about a 55-57cm top tube, with a 120mm-ish stem, but I'm not hugely picky. I'll be renting a car, so I can meet wherever.
I'd actually kind of like to join a group ride, if possible, so I don't have to rely on conjecture to find the best riding areas.
