Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Stage 1
5.1 mile hill climb. Very close to 26min even. NOT DFL
Expert Winner was 17:23
I'd like to take this time to thank the Jackass in the non-affiliated dually diesel that decided they needed to pace us for the last 1/4 mile for the extra particulates in my lungs. I needed those.
Still had too much in the tank, but left more out there than last time.
3 stages to go.

I'd like to see some pictures of this one. Are we talking carbon fiber road bikes, MTBs, or snow chains?? :)
Roadbikes, Carbon, Ti and Al were all present there may even have been some steel.
It has a fair number of participants that've travelled 350-600 miles to be here.
Thursday 5 mile hill climb. NOT DFL
Friday 15 mile circuit. NOT DFL
Sat 30 mile Road race, Not DFL helped a guy out as best I could as he tried to solo back after a mechanical. He thanked me after the race.
We also threw together a Team for a 40k Team TT. Made it about 6 miles hanging on for dear life. Off the back at that point caught another teammate that got spit out a few miles up and we both cried uncle at about the 10 mile mark and got a ride since this was not a points race for our class.
Sun 40 mile deathmarch through the hills today to finish it off. Not DFL Put about 8 minutes into a guy I was about even with at the turn around in the last 20 miles. Not DFL
GC standing. For want of an additional 43 seconds on the previously mentioned guy. DFL Fawk mother FAwk. Missing a turn in the circuit race and pulling up early(not the only one to do so either) may have been the difference.
Next year I hope to not have cutting weight as my main goal. Now I give the new bike back until I finish the job.:(:(

The tour was sort of ok. Excellent weather really and nary a crash this year. Big organizational faux-pas not getting any porta-potties though, the girls love that.
Stage 1 hill climb was amusing, probably should have been an individual TT but with only 3 volunteers running the race and one of them racing we would have been there until midnight. . .which is actually quite doable the month of June in Fairbanks.
