I owned a British-made Viking in 1960 and would like to find another, size 23 or possibly 22-1/2.

I remember them , my freind had one ,way back then ! they had curly chain/seat stays.
Sorry -- You have got that wrong. The "Hetchins" was the frame you described. Viking were builder of large numbers of frames. They had a Professional team some years ago and won the Tour of Britain. Hetchins began their time in the 1930s in North London and later moved 40 miles east to Southend on Sea. I knew Alf Hetchins very well. They were well known for their "Curly" framesets. I have 2 in my Collection - one from c1930 one of the first "curlies" and a straight one from later years
