Well Done !!! On a MTB? The furthest I've on ridden on my GT Outpost is 32 mi. CONGRATS!!! IMHO it is close enough to call a metric century.

On a Mongoose MTB? Heck, if you were on a roadie, you would have easily done a century no problem!:thumb::

Congratulations on the accomplishment! Did you ride the towpath? Where did you start / stop (or turnaround)?

i started in Parma (Ohio) and rode down to the trail head on Harvard Ave. and then road south down to Hale Farm and Village and then got back on the towpath and road south till the end of the state park and turned around there and headed back home. it took me a total of 5 hours and 2 min. with an average speed of 11.9 MPH... i was trying to stay in the 12 to 13 MPH range through out the whole ride so i guess i didnt do to bad. i ran almost exclusively on my 38 tooth chain ring in the front and the 18 tooth on the back... "5th gear" on my bike, as im only running two chain rings on the front (48-38). i think i may have gone a little slower than i needed to at the start... but i really didnt know what to expect... i think im going to try it on my road bike soon. :thumb: but at this point im a much better rider on the MTB. but i just got the schwinn so it will take time. i'll get there! woot!
