Road Bike Racing - Anyone racing (or watching) the Harlem Classic Crit this Sunday?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm gonna try and get out of work to watch the pro race.

I expect to see a post in the near future on how to properly chain your bike to your leg while riding in a crit. Otherwise, if you crash, you might need to break out some judo...
please... for future reference, it's not the "Harlem Classic Crit", nor is it the "Harlem Skyscraper Crit", it is the "Harlem Skinscraper Crit."

need a subscription. eff that.
Didn't go. My route from Gimbels to work takes me on the course, so I was able to shoot the ***** with some of my buddies, and I caught the 4's race. Rock Racing was selling $20 hats.

Please. Could someone post who won the Pro1/2 race.
Thanks
Eric Barlevav (Time Pro) won the sprint, immediately upon which he crashed (should have kept his hands on his bars...). Bahati took 2nd, Jake Keough 3rd, Freddie 4th.

Pro/1/2 winner threw bike at line, one hand slipped off the bar (I think), wheel immediately went sideways, and he fell. But he won. He didn't raise his hands or anything, and it was very close. Fred Rodriguez did a massive power-slide type move to avoid the Time bike.
Wet until the 3s so tons and tons of crashes in the 4s and M30s. 3s was dry so it was fine, only two crashes. Tiny fields (90 Cat 3s) relatively speaking. Much nicer area than it used to be.

I will post next because of what I see in their influence in the sport.
Great event, Rock Racing really pulled it together for this thing. Two big screen TVs, boom cameras on every turn, stationary cameras too, felt like you were watching the Champs Elysee stage or something, lots of loud music, a hyper announcer, really entertaining. Good for the sport, I think. No one cares about anyone's history at this point, it's just watching good, fun racing. Locals really worked to show themselves, 1s and 2s from CT and NY quite noticeable.
My friend (Cat 2) attacked hard once. He goes 100%, wiggles elbow. No one comes through. Looks back. Tyler Hamilton. haha. Imagine attacking and a Giro podium finisher is on your wheel. What do you do?
btw who is the RR racer with the aluminum wheels? He worked his heart out for the whole race. Maybe the rock star guy with the long curly dark hair. Incredible teammate.

I went. It was a lot of fun watching. I too, thought it was nicely organized, and as much as I knock Rock Racing and Ball for all kinds of things, I give them credit for putting this thing on and giving it the feel of a big pro-level event. Kind of wish one of their boys could have won the thing.

What the hell is on the back of Tyler's saddle?

I asked a guy running around with similar bottles for the team and collecting them afterwards. Each bottle has some memory media, saved data that a bullet type cam is catching. Tyler had two bottles for two cameras, one pointing at his face, the other pointing forward. No helmet cams that I can see. Great idea though, using bottles. Couldn't see inside of them.
They also set them up on corners on the barricades, just recording for the whole race.
One of Tyler's fell off, the camera guy said he was in a rush when he put everything together, the cap fell off, and I guess the media recording thing fell out. He seemed pretty nonchalant about it. Amazing when you have a lot of money.
He says end of year before too much footage comes out from those cams, they're still gathering shots or something. Maybe dialing in the various positions and seeing what works and what doesn't.

*edit* here's a shot of the cam pointing up at Tyler.

FWIW do NOT go to bulletcam even though that's sort of how I refer to the actual cam, use chasecam.com. I tried both and had to threaten the former with legal action to get a lot of hard earned money back after 6 months of no action and no cam (and lots and lots of unanswered phone calls and bs emails). Chasecam is awesome, helpful, answers the phone, and stocks pretty much everything I've asked about.

You're funny.

That's some seriously good bike handling by FR to avoid the winner's carnage.

Guy came out at the bottom of his downstroke while leading the field. A photographer caught it well too but the pic location escapes me.
WRI all the way, he went at 1 1/2 laps to go:
