Man this group is growing

In the short time ive been on here this group C/A seems to be growing ridiculously fast. There are New folks posting daily..this is great! Hopefully when we our recognised by the cycling world there will be alot more in store stuff instead of custom made for the big folks...welcome all.:thumb:

I concur, it's really great to have been here since day 1, and see how this group is growing.

That being said, however, I wish some of my favorites would return. Rollerdavem, Jumbo Rider, Hambone and others to name a few are missed!

I'm new here as well too. 6ft 275lbs. 1/2 way through my first commute to work, we'll see if I make it the 7 miles home. Knees can't take running, and I loved biking as a kid so I thought I would try it again. Loving it so far, and been taking my 7yo out on weekend trips to the bike trails. Its been great.

Just like the LBS here. Everybody is wanting to commute, ride RAGBRAI, or lose weight.

I know that I'm shrinking. Since I started lurking this forum, and bike commuting, (IIRC was in late 2006) I've shrunk around 40 pounds.

I think clyde/athena is great. As it has grown I think we need to elect a president of clyde/athena. I nominate Gina Beanz and her sidekick Mr Beanz as first lady.

Nominations should exclude mods (sorry Tom) to avoid any risk of vote rigging.
