Looks Like I'm the only one doing this one. I think this is the first year they're having one at the Jersey shore.
The ride is next Sat, 6/21. I'm doing the metric century...or at least trying to.
If anyone wants to sponsor me, here's the link (http://main.diabetes.org/goto/grunzster).
Or if anyone else is riding and wants to meet up, let me know. I think I may need the motivation!
My roadie was trashed in an accident a little over a month ago, and the new frame still didn't come in from Trek, so I'll be the one struggling on a MTB (Rangers stickers on the top tube), with some REALLY fat knobby tires.
Not to mention I haven't really trained as much as I should have, but at least of done a lot of hills. Yeah that should come in real handy for riding down the shore. If I do make at least I'll be able to sprint to the finish.
