Has anyone here had experience with the Rans Cruz or Dynamik? I was just curious about how they would compare to the Revive and the Day 6.

I have no experience with the Revive or Day 6 but I own a Rans Fusion (which is v ery similar to the Cruz) and I just ordered a Zenetik Road (which is a lighter and narrower tired version of the Dynamik). These bikes are referred to as "crankforward" bikes. Some folks refer to them as "semi-recumbents". I love them because I can ride them without any butt, neck, or wrist pain or numbness. The RANS bikes are pretty good performers as well. They may not be quite as fast as a pure road bike but at 59 YO and 250# I'm much more concerned about riding a lot, not speed. The RANS bikes get me to do that.
The biggest drawback is that they are "unconventional" and "real" cyclists may look at you funny. I'm to old to worry about that stuff. I just know that I ride them a lot more than I ever rode by DF bikes.
Give them a test ride. You might like them.

Thanks, John. Revive and Day 6 are crank forward, semi-recumbent types as well. I was wondering how they might be different from the Rans type.

I test rode the Rans Cruz and Dynamik and I liked the Dynamik a lot. I own one of there recumbent bikes the Rocket. They build good stuff. Buy the one that fits you and your needs. Sorry the Revive and the Day 6 are just to ugly for me to even think about riding. :roflmao2:
