I stayed away from the NASTY thread that started out as a simple
question/observation and ended up showing what I interpretate as the
ugly side of at least one of our Mods. Not having the intelligence or
social graces that most of the 50+ members have, I was hesitant to
participate at first a couple years back. Every one here accepted me as
I am and I felt comfortable enough to become a frequent poster. I put my foot
in my mouth a few times, stepped on some people's feelings and offered
open apologies yet still felt accepted and at ease.
That feeling of comfort is gone. It's time to look for another sandbox to
play in for a while.
