Lance, God, and Bruce Almighty

Was watching the deleted scenes on the Bruce Almighty DVD. A scene that was apparently cut has God and Bruce talking about miracles and God shows Lance Armstrong. The scene is unfinished and you don't see Lance, but it's an obvious Lance plug and would've been clever had it stayed in the film. There's a slight continuity issue, but that could be fixed. I wonder why it wasn't used.

Any Lance watchers know anything about this?

I recently rented Bruce Almighty (three nights ago) and came across that deleted scene too and laughed myself off the bed. It really would have been great if they had put it in the final cut.
