After spending countless hours browsing topics here on BF, I finally dove in and picked up my Giant Sedona (22 inch frame) from the LBS. It was between the Sedona and the Cypress, and I nearly drove myself crazy trying to decide between the 26" or 700c tires and finally decided that the decision didn't make much difference as long as the ride was comfy (both were when I test drove) and as long as I RIDE! Spent about an hour cruising around today and had no issues except the chain came off when I shifted to the smallest crank -- slipped it back on and was rolling again in under 30 seconds. I'm guessing a minor adjustment is in order to correct that problem -- which I was unable to recreate during the rest of the ride.

Now if only I could realistically commute to work on a bike.... but I can't -- its almost 30 miles one way with no bike-friendly route.

Tighten the low limit screw on the front derailer so the chain is just barely off the inner derailer cage in the small/big combination. If the bike is new, the LBS should do it under warranty.
