Blogger's Forum - Bloggers Wanted.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm looking for bloggers to join a new project I've started called Local Cyclist. Take a look at the site www.localcyclist.com. The idea is that bloggers across the country can be organized to produce a national news site from the local perspective. If you are interested throw up a link to your blog and we'll get in touch.
I am a blogger.

What do you need?

I just need people who blog about cycling that are interested in joining.
the site has two goals. The first is create a resource where anyone can easily find cycling information specific to their location. The second is to organize existing blogs into a news-style site that provides national coverage from the local pespective.
Participation entails giving us permission to post your headline on the site and adding a tag to your posts which allows to acurately sort the post by topic. If someone finds a headline interesting and clicks on it they are taken back to the original site to read the full article.
Our only requirements are a reciprocal link back to our site and that the blog is relatively PG.

That's a great idea. I'm a relatively new blogger, my blog is only about a month old. :D It's nothing special, just about the adventures of a n00b who decided to embrace the "car-free" lifestyle and become much more than just an "occasional" cyclist.

I don't follow the cycling sports news, so it's not sporty. I don't attend any bicycling social events (like Midnight Ridazz or Critical Mass) as I have a crazy work schedule and can't usually make them. Although I will try to attend local meetings to support bicycle advocacy in my area. And you won't see me posting pictures of myself wearing bright yellow.
I want my blog to be geared towards other n00bs, those who are finding their own newfound love for bicycling. I also want to write for those who consider themselves relatively unconventional cyclists. People who dress in street clothing while riding (whether they be jeans, knickers or *gasp* dresses).

RMB I sent you a PM, and your blog is off to a great start.
Tyler you've got a PM as well from a few days ago.
Like RMetalBroad, I'm a relatively new cyclist, hitting the road again recreationally in the past month. Although I travel quite a bit for work, I also have the opportunity to work from home a lot and do recreational cycling, so I started a new blog that includes, but is not exclusive to, cycling.

I don't know about you, but I think that "Fat Man on a Bike" is the best blog in the world*.

I hope this what you're looking for.
I write a blog about cycling in Europe (I put together guided and self-guided tours), but also plan to add info on local rides in Colorado and California. I also have a blog on indoor cycling which is quite popular but not sure if it fits what you're looking for.
