Foo - I is an idiot or what not to eat...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I was doing some grocery shopping after work on the way home and decided on a whim to buy these

I thought that they would be a decent meal, I mean how bad can they be...
... I thunk wrong.:o
Some corn chips with a particularly nasty fake cheese sauce. What overpriced crap.
So I also had some leftover homemade lentil and pasta bake for tea. That was much better, even reheated.
What food have other foosters brought and regretted later?:D

I've never eaten a hot pocket, and I'd like to keep it that way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zewDAa99Ns8
Most of my food regrets involve habanero peppers, they're great on the way in, but not so much on the way out.

Pretty much anything involving fake cheese or canned gravy...
You don't want to the details, they're too hideous to contemplate.

Any generic canned beef stew...
Some VESTA freeze dried instant meals. The smell should've warned me off but I just had to actually taste test.
Never again - I can only describe the smell/taste as somewhere between burning tyres and new car smell. Which is kind of funny considering it was supposed to be a curry.
ohhhhhh - against my brother's wrinkled nose and testimony of some co-workers eating them (and him smelling them), I tried some instant noodle soup things out of a Vietnamese grocery store in CA (hey - I thought I'd be getting a Ramon-esque kinda thing).
Not so! I think it was the extra package (besides the seasonings) of the fish oil something that did it. Couldn't get it down. :( And smelled up my house.

ez cheez nachos (my own recipe):[/SIZE]
take a chip, dip in salsa. cover in cheez whiz. eat.
good drunk munchie food, don't try to eat it sober, though.
diet-anything...
I'll take those high or reasonable calorie foods any day over diet, reduced, low-cal and supplement food and drinks any day.
If I ever drink diet-anything, my body will reject it within 15mins.
low-cal foods aren't too great either, I eat way more of that stuff than some regular food, so the total caloric intake ends up the same, except I'd be literally stuffed.

A good rule of thumb for me is to completely avoid packaged foods. :)

Fried chicken from the freezer section. Fried chicken is one of my favorite things to eat, but the banquet stuff I got just gave me a stomache and tasted like сrap

I had some durian candy a while back. It had an icky garlic taste going down, and lingered on the palate for HOURS.
Uck.

Hungry Man makes a decent fried chicken - at least last time I tried it. That Banquet stuff is cr@p though! All their stuff is salty tasteless garbage.....

Aren't nachos ALREADY a packaged fast food? How many seconds does it save to buy the chips and (fake) cheese packaged together?
What next? Pre-unrolled condoms?
