I am putting my bike back together and trying to figure out what wheels to get for it. I am looking at a set of Crossmax Wheels, either xl or sl. I will be doing only XC with long rides and some racing. I weigh about 220, and want to make sure the sl's will hold up. Any thoughts?

I know a fella who weighs 230 and rides freeride on crossmax sl's. You should have no problems dude.

That is just silly....unless your talking about some other kind of freeride.

This guy drops off 3 foot ledges that I have seen and others say he does crazier stuff than that. Now it may not meet your definition of freeride, I don't know.

All I know is he is a big guy who downhills hard and does drops.
