View Full Version : Water bottle holder
Saw a setup wher ea clip was mounted between the aerobars so that it could hold a water bottle in a horizontal position. Made fo reasy access and ability to remian in the aero position without having to reach behind to a rear mounted system.
I do not remember where I saw this setup. Help is finding one would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen it done in real life more than a few times, but this is currently up on Slowtwitch:

Maybe this? http://www.bikemannetwork.com/biking/p/ACH2OSYS/WC3101
or this? http://www.velo-orange.com/vohatowaboca.html
Do you not like the Profile Design Aero Drink bottle? I personally think it's a much better option but I know some people don't like it.

I've thought about mounting a standard aero bottle to a mount like this - get it right in front of the head tube without being so massive as the profile bottle, which is overkill for most sub-ironman uses.

Just use this, http://www.profile-design.com/products/hydration/aerodrink/
$14 comes with rubber bands to mount it to your aero bars for an event. Definitely not overkill, I sucked the whole thing down at a sprint event this weekend (admittedly though I lost some due to splashing cause the stupid koozie thing for the cap popped out on a bump and I lost it.)

The Profile bottle is not overkill. Even in a sprint you will still want to drink at least 20 oz on the bike and having it right there...no hands required...is definitely the way to go.
