Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I can tell visually or any other means between an brushlees and brushed motor?
Thank you for your help.
I would believe the easiest way to tell is the lack of a brush hood, and number 2, 2 wires in a brushed setup for + and -, and 3 wires, + - and pole position on a brushless motor, dont quote me I may not be right.

Brushless motors have 1 wire for each phase, usually 3 in addition to 5 wires for hall effect sensors. Ive heard there are a few super cheap brushless motors that don't have hall sensors so a sure fire way to tell is if its got more then 2 wires its probably a brushless
