Just started this morning.. and I can't find where it's rubbing. I hear the scriiiitch... scriiitch sound and feel it when I'm cranking on the LH downstroke. That's the only time I hear/feel it. Easy riding and it is silent.
When I shift from the small chainring to the mid chainring, no noise. From the mid to the large chainring, no noise. But when I shift from the large to the mid chainring and put some power in the downstroke, there it is again in its irritating glory. Doesn't seem to matter what gear the rear cassette is in.
I can't find anywhere it's rubbing. It won't do it when I'm watching it in a stand. Have to put some power in it to create the noise. Crank bolts are tight. Everything looks good. But something's amiss.
Any suggestions what to look for?
