Touring - going west/north from Sk

Leaving in two weeks. going through edmonton from saskatoon, through jasper, up to #16 then west to prince rupert, then hopefully up the marine hwy to alaska. Anyone along the way looking for some cycling company going the same way? or even have a place for the night along that route?, back yard works just fine; always great meeting like minded people.

I haven't had a lot of time to check things out...well been a bit lazy in those terms. So if anyone knows those areas or has biked them, and know of some must experience places, i'd love to hear.

Sorry I can't help out on the company or backyard end of things but I just wanted to say I am super jealous! Just watch out for sleepy drivers on the route from Sask to Edmonton (and beyond); it's a great place for Highway hypnosis.

Thanks for the heads up Anna. The only route I've biked was from Saskatoon to Calgary. In my honest opinion it was the most courteous stretch of road on out 6000k trip down to california last year. Nearly every automobile who passed accommodated us by going in the other lane if possible...quite unlike some of those wood chip truckers out of Crescent Cal. Having driven #7 often for work, and knowing exactly that prairie hypnotism you mention...maybe i will throw a safety vest on for good measure.
