After 4 days of waiting, they finally arrived, my dad woke me up this morning at 8am, saying, theres to packages for you.... I jumped out of bed so fast my feet didnt touch the ground lol....

My dad said he was gonna help fit them, as he beleives i know nothing about bikes, and he doesnt want to see me wasting my money... So he said i had to wait till 2moz o fit them, I managed to slowly convince him to let me put the rotors on, and then disconnect my old disc brakes, and by the end, The old brakes and cables are gone, the 2 rotors are on, and the front caliper is put in position roughly... Not bad seeing as i wasnt supposed to be starting it until tomorrow..

I had a bit of a shock when i opened the box, I was expecting 2003 Julies, and the ones that came were the 2004s... Much better looking :) (Hope mini Stlye rotor :) Im not sure how well these perform compared to the 2003s.. but time will tell...

I got my new XT shifters today aswell.... So 2moz, Ill fit the whole lot, and ill show ya a pic after its done :)

Glad you got your new discs and shifters! Hope ya like 'em!

I know what you mean by being so excited! I was really exited when UPS came with my RaceFace Prodigy XC cranks and XT shifters. I had it on 2-day air, but it got here overnight all the way from Califoria to Virginia!! I was so happy with UPS. :D

Well... being british, and crap at Geography... i have no idea how far away Virginia is away from California... But it sounds good :)

Its a good job you got yours right away, i was reading in the mechanics forum, a bloke was abit too anxious and he put his RF cranks on his new bb and he cant get them off now...

That guy was me. :( :(

But I got them off safely!!! Now if i could just get this old Bottom Bracket off. On the right side, it's right=loosen and on the left side, it's right=tighten right? Got the left side off fine, but not the right. Will keep on working at it though!
