Mountain Biking - new years resolutions

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Post your biking related new years resolutions.
my resolutions:
get into downhill riding
start riding in races
ride at least twice every day(5am and 5pm)
make my bike lighter

Although I am getting into XC racing next season, I didn't make any "new years resolutions".
Whatever resolutions I make I implement them right away. A clock isn't going to help me with my resolutions ..

Hmmm.... Thats a good one... Possibly making my bike lighter, or even better, making me lighter... I also want to learn the trackstand, wheelie and try and improve my bunny hop..

spin @ 95rpm on all rides until April.
Ride to work whenever possible.
Pull at least 2 kids in the ride for heart.
Do a century (I can cop a metric if needed)
Finaly, get my son on a trail ride this summer.
Happy new year folks!
Not finish in last 5 of any race.
Do a 6ft drop to flat
Do the tank drop... 16 ft drop (Probably break this one)

My resolutions were to:
-Save money for a new fork (I hate this InSync 323)
-Save a little money for new brakes (I hate these Wal-Mart quailty brakes)
-Lose some weight on myself, not the bike
-Prepare for races in the spring
