I have a 2000(I think) Schwinn Moab 2 with the stock Judy SL fork. The fork has always creaked on me and been generally soft. I am 195-205lbs. Depends on if I've shed my winter coat or not. I think a spring change will help with rideability.
I've seen firm spring kits on ebay. Which ones will fit? Is it worth the $20 or so to get a spring kit?
Comments? suggestions?
I've found some newer forks, like a 2006 J4 Judy for $40. If I were to switch to said fork how much
Thanks
