Can't really argue with the list, nothing else I'd like to see there. I mean, after all, check the following list....

A League of Their Own -- yeah, right; a drunken Tom Hanks as manager, Madonna on the field, and they have a happy ending?

Over The Top -- as much as Stallone did with Rocky, he buried arm-wrestling with this dud.

Major League -- funny, off-color humor (my style!), but sooooooo contrived. What do you want for basically a cable sitcom 100 minutes long?

They left off Baseketball!

Matt and Trey get no love.

WTF? Caddyshack and National Velvet are not sports movies!

AFI, I reject your list and substitute my own

1. Raging Bull
2. Chariots of Fire
3. LeMans
4. Knute Rockne, All American
5. The Longest Yard (1975)
6. Paper Lion
7. Hoosiers
8. Brians Song
9. Rocky
10. Victory

Any sports movie list must include The Sandlot. Not really, but that movie is awesome.

I am kind of shocked rudy didn't make it. For some odd reason, I really enjoyed that flick. Moreso than jerry mcguire...I wonder what requirements they have for their selection.
