Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Los Angeles Mercier dealers?

I'm wonder if any LA natives know of any bike shops in the greater Los Angeles region that sell Mercier Kilo Tts. None of my local bike shops sell Merciers, but I'm sure there are other shops around here that sell them. I appreciate any help.

I could be mistaken, but I believe they are only sold through bikesdirect's retail stores called Cycle Spectrum. There are only a few locations in TX, AZ, and FL.

i called the guy wanted a headset for my kilo tt and he told me he has never even seen one in person.

yeah, it's pretty much an online only thing. if you're open to other options though, check out Orange 20 at melrose and heliotrope, they sell a lot of fixed gear bikes.

or check craigslist. ive seen a couple there.

o20 sells the khs flite 100 which is about the same as a mercier but without the cool fork

i bought my complete kilo tt on craigslist for $200....complete bike+high flange hub wheelset, cervelo time trial bullhorns, cane creek bar end brake levers, ultegra calipers, and nitto b123 track bars.
i bought it, stripped it all to the frame, and made over $300 back on the parts alone then built it up like i wanted.

It was some time ago (10+ years) but Ted Ernst used to sell Mercier stuff (although I don't know if it is the same frame builder your referencing).

nah, all the bikesdirect bikes are stamped with logos of companies that either have lapsed their trademarks or are in such bad shape they don't mind people using their name. the kilo is made in taiwan by the same factory that makes KHS bikes (khs in long beach)

There's a bum, who happens to be in LA, on craigslist who is selling a completely stock Kilo TT with a starting price of $400.

Edit: Handlbar, tape, and tires aren't stock

yeah i think he was on LAfixed asking 500 until he got blasted and dropped to MSRP.
