Touring - Ortlieb Panniers and acc

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Where can a person get the best buy on Ortlieb Panniers? Or anyone know of some very good used stuff?
I tried to post on the looking to buy forum but it would not let me start a new thread??? Thanks in advance for any help you might have to offer!

I second The Touring Store. Wayne is The Touring Store and he's a great guy to deal with. (Plus, he puts treats in the box when he ships something.)

I do have a price from them on a complete set. Just thought I would see if there were any other good options.

I was very pleased with the help I got from the folks @ the Touring Store. But like all of us today were looking for the best deal we can get. I'm sure they will be great people to deal with. Thanks for the input. Still don't know why I was unable to post on the looking to buy forum?

Not ALL of us are looking simply for the cheapest price. Some of us appreciate expert personal service and recognize the person providing that service should make a living.

Ordered a Tubus front rack yesterday from Wayne and i've already received a tracking number because it's on it's way. Will be here before the weekend. Nice guy on the phone and very helpful. Service is worth something in my book and his pricing is pretty darn reasonable when you consider his stuff comes with free shipping.

The prices at the touring store are pretty good; I've not seen much better prices elsewhere on the web. The service you get from Wayne is well worth it. He'll spend a lot of time on the phone with you making sure that what you order is something you'll be happy with. When I ordered racks, I measured my bike on the phone with him. When I got a new bike (going from a MTB to a touring road bike) I assumed I'd new racks and called to order them. He suggested I try the old racks and, lo and behold, they fit the new bike.
Wayne cares about his customers and wants them to be satisfied. He's got me as a very loyal customer.

I'll add my voice to the others. You won't find a more honest and patient person than Wayne. You could buy cheap elsewhere but in the end, it could cost you a lot more.
In my case Wayne cheated himself out of a sale by working with what I had. He could have just as easily insisted I need to buy a whole setup from him to make things work.
