Foo - A question about Bruce Lee...

I didn't know where to post this, I could have sworn there was an "Off Topic" section around here... Anyway...

I know the guy had one of the lowest BF counts around (1.5% BF I heard when he started filming Enter The Dragon.

I mean, If I was to get down to 1.5%, I would literally have to starve myself.

And I was wandering, Do any of you know how Bruce Lee was able to lift heavy weights (for his bodyweight) but at the same time remain so lean & cut without adding bodyweight or a lot of muscle mass???...

Was it down to genetics, diet, cardio etc???...

Can anyone help me out...

Bruce was just a freak of nature, training, and discipline. There is a reason he has no equal, but good luck trying!

I doubt that one could live with 1.5% BF his was low, but not that low. Bruce at one point in his life was 180 lbs. and was on a body building program. His goal was to move his own body weight in any motion.
Yes genetics had alot to do with it but also all he did was train, train, train.

My wife just read this post and as an RN pretty much swears that 1.5% is impossible unless you're talking Calista Flockheart or Laura Flynn Boyle... and truth be told-they're more than 1.5% in reality.

My wife said 1.5% is somewhere around starved... e.g. think images of Auschwitz. At percentages that low the body eats itself including muscle so Bruce wouldn't have had the muscle definition he had.
