I'm taking a trip July 4th-9th to San Antonio, and I'm hoping to make my girlfriend my fiancee during the trip. I'm looking for a shop that has a few tandem bikes on the floor, or someone that owns one and would be willing to help out.

My girlfriend knows I'll want to check out a few bike shops while in town, so my idea is to ship a little note card I've made to someone in town and have it hung on a tandem bike that I can casually direct her attention to.

If anyone knows a shop I should try calling, or would be willing to help personally, please send me a PM to let me know.

This sounds like a fun way to propose. You gotta keep us updated on this. If you get video, post a link hear, as well.

I heard there is an old cruiser stored in the basement of the Alamo.

you might check with Art Link, a CR listmember who runs a bed and breakfast
in San Antonio ( the columns?)

I thought so, I don't want to do something run of the mill, but honestly I'm really broke after buying her ring. It's suitably geeky though, titanium with a tension set diamond. :thumb:
