Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - New Smiley?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello,
I am coming from another vB forum, and I am so used to using a smiley that is like a thumbs-up. I would like to see this smiley here because it is especially useful at the end of posts helping a member out with a problem where you would say "Good luck! (insert thumb smiley here)". Here is a link to the smiley:

Hope you will consider this! (insert thumbs-up smiley here)

We used to have a similar smiley, but in the recent conversion it was lost along with a few others. Damn shame. I miss 'em! :(
Yeah. I miss the thumbs up one and the fun one too.

Can't you just manually add the smiley to the forums? I am an administrator of an Invision Power Board, and I can manually add smilies by uploading them to the FTP server in the directory for smilies.
If that does not work, I will use the {IMG} tags to hotink this smiley.
Hope you can find an alternative!

If members can manually do it, it's all good. However, I think a lot of those smileys are copyrighted and protected, so I don't think we can just add them to our arsenol of emoticons, unfortunately. If you know where we can get them free without copyrights, let us know for sure!

I will email or Private Message a moderator or administrator at the forum I got it from. They should get back soon with a reply and I will let you know!

Most of these smilies are now in the public folder. I'll add the thumbs-up smilie later today :)
