I am really enjoying the curve v mini thread. No closer to making a decision....

But has anyone seen this before, or got any insights ? I know if it looks too cheap it probably is, but anyway:

Looks like there is a Dahon handlepost and main frame hinge on it, so it was likely built in the Chinese Dahon factory, an OEM bike. Many of these around for on-sellers to put their own labels on. Yeah is one of the better-known ones. A Dahon in many respects but usually loaded with the cheapest componentry. My Yeah started out like that, but now sports XT gears and a Schlumpf bottom bracket.

This looks amazingly like a 16" folder that camping shops were flogging a couple of years ago. Ashtabula (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/opc.html)(sp?) cranks on the one I tried, my knees hit the handlebars when mobile, 'Shimano' gears were labeled 'Monsoon'. But it rode ok, and had decent wheels and Kenda tyres. Folded up small. Gears worked ok. A bit twitchy on the road, and preferred a 20" bike.

This looks like an update with a lighter crank & V brakes.

Make sure your knees fit!
