My Avocet 35 battery finally died. It has an unmarked battery, what kind of battery is used as a replacement?

Also, I need to replace the battery in the Polar s720i. According to the manual, it is a CR2354. I can't find it in supermarkets/pharmacies, anyone know of a source?

the avocet battery is a #357 silver oxide, 1.5 volt.. You can find those at radio shack or online with avocet

Forget trying to find the polar battery at a watch shop, they will find something close but not quite the battery.. I buy mine on ebay and keep 1 extra around..

Polar frowns on people changing their own batteries. They want you to send them in where they do a pressure test to test the water resistance of the seal.

I've changed my batteries on my 720i and have never had problems.

I've changed my polar batteries with no issues too.. you just need a very small phillips screwdriver..
