Bicycle Mechanics - Where do you get your cable housing?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

PBK has brake cable housing, but is out of derailleur cabe housing.... AND the picture of the shift cable housing appears to be wrong (or do they send the wrong stuff?)
I was finding myself buying housing sets from REI... where do other people get their supplies, possibly purchased by the meter?

At the LBS.

At our shop... any LBS should carry miles of the stuff.

You can buy housing in spools of 25 feet from many mail order shops, and usually costs about $1/foot. My LBS sells Shimano housing for $1/foot.

LBS. It's one of the items you don't really save on when ordering online.

There is a Performance Bike shop about 3 miles from my home. Does that count as an LBS?
