OK, glad to have you around. If you made the diffrerence, that is great.

Truly, I love seeing all the bikers, hikers, walkers, joggers, skaters, cross-country skiers and others that we have in the area.

Very different from what I have observed in other states.

Don't forget snowshoeing, which I discovered today.

And the best part is the lack of smokers. I've gone to a couple of restaurants here and have not had to use my inhaler because there was no cigarette smoke.

It's a shame they don't rate Summit County. I can actually sit down and have a glass of wine at a bar and not have to leave or worry about the person next to me smoking.

I mention this because Ohio has one of the highest rates of smoking in the country. I cannot go into a bar anywhere in Ohio without cigarette smoke and Ohio has the highest obesity rates in the country.

I'm knocking Ohio because we are seriously looking to move out here.

Oh, I thought you were complaining about winter. When you get tired of the warm days for cycling and hiking you get snow, then you ski or snowshoe. I love winter here!

Nora and I both snowshoe. Here is a picture of Nora near Lake Dillon two years ago! Nora was 64 at the time. We cross country skied two days ago at Frisco Nordic Center.

Cleveland and Columbus were rated in the top fattest cities last year. Cincy wasn't rated but I'm sure it would be up there too.

Self Magazine rated the heathiest cities for women. Cincy was 3rd from the bottom. Why? High # of women smokers, high obesity rate, higher rate of cancer deaths,
air pollution, lack of opportunity to exercise.

However, IMO, the water in Cincy is the best.

DnverFox,
That's a great picture of your wife. We went to Echo Lake today. It was so much fun, I think the fresh snow made the experience more enchanting. I bought snowshoes last year in Silverthorne but had never had the opportunity to try them.

My digital camera has video and sound so I made little movies while I went along.

Will post my first snowshoeing picture when I get home.
