some unknown number of years ago we bought a bike water bottle made by Brita with Brita filter inside. Now I'm looking for some of the filters, and at least in Ann Arbor they seem to be unknown. The filter is much smaller and skinnier than the one for pitchers, but is not the same as the one for coffeemakers.
Anyone aware of an available filtered water bottle?

Unless you have a habit of refilling your bottles in streams, I don't see much point in having a filter. And no, I haven't seen one, ever.

Backpacking/camping stores should have some. I had one I used for kayaking that had a three stage filter and it worked great!
Why do you want filtered water bottles?
I fill my Polar bottles with filtered tap water.

It's possible that on really long rides Road Fan might finish his bottles of water and stop to refill them from a non filtered source. Probably not a body of water, but maybe a tap at a restaurant or a hose? So a portable filtration system could be pretty handy if you worry about that sort of thing.
