hello everyone!

i gotta be honest here and say i'm also one of the millions that are new to bikes. i started out a while ago thinking about getting a bike to cruise around on to help get me into shape, i got all excited and bought a new schwinn madison without really looking around. recently i've been bit by the vintage road/track bike bug.... now i have a mid-late sixties [U-08??] peugeot and a eighty [i think] something bianchi road bike. i'm in the process of building my girlfriend a 40cm mystery schwinn boys road bike into a fixie/single speed, getting it repainted and whatnot.

now i spend most of my time [and money] searching craigslist and ebay for vintage campy stuff, vintage bianchi stuff and all that.

thanks for reading and i hope to enjoy this place...

I see you have already found the C & V forum :D . It's my favourite place here, and I can't get enough of photos of nice vintage bikes (gentle hint :) ).

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !
