I am trying to install a new isis bb and it says i need a spacer for it to work with a 68mm shell unless i have a W[FONT=Arial][SIZE=7][COLOR=Yellow]/E - type der. or a chainguide. I dont have a chainguide and i dont know what a W/E - type der. is. Any one know what a W/E - type der. is?

An E-Type front derrailuer is one that clips directly onto the crankset. The other more standard type is a front der. that will attach to the bike frame itself. As far as a chainguide goes, I am not sure what that is.
Good luck with your new bottom bracket! http://forums.amdmb.com/images/smilies/extra/thumb.gif

A chain guide helps prevent the chain from falling off the inside of the crankset. The most common is called a "Third Eye Chainwatcher".

An E type front derailleur is mounted on the bottom bracket shell.
