Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone ever do this. Seams pretty sweet...

Little out of my price range now (poor college student) but since there really are so few TT's renting seams a bit smarter then dropping 3 grand on wheels.

Renting kit seems a lot more common in the Tri community - there's a company o'er here that I see at almost any triathlon, and many duathlons, of any note. They mostly rent bikes, but I think you can rent wheels form them too - though I think they're all Daklia stuff.
It's a nifty idea though - you could also use it as a try-before-you-buy scheme (which some bike shops run - Zipp has a programme it runs through many shops for that).
Just know how to recognise a well-glued tubular.
