The web site (http://www.fiveflagsmotorbikes.com/express.htm) says it all. You just sit in on the rear tyre using a special rack and go. I remember gas kits like this in Europe.

Gotta love simplicity! Wet has always been the drawback of friction drive but wet is also a problem for any eBike with different manifestations. Of course rapid tire wear is also concern but with the ease and simplicity of install/use is about as good as it gets for modest, fair weather assist.

$600C on CraigsList? Kinda buzz killer... I thought US dollar was down compared to CAN?

Might be ok for limited mobility folks for short distance around town use. I can see a market for it my town.
