Just testing the waters, wondering if anyone is interested. There are a few online leagues that would do the "crunching" for us or we could set our own rules and have at it. It could make this year's *yawn* Tour more exciting. We could thrown in some exotic rules to make it more exciting. Points for guessing:
1. Who is the first rider to crash out (has to fully hit the deck and get an injury) but finish the race?
2. Will Cadel Evans attack or not?
3. Lantern Rouge
4. Will a rider physically attack McEwen? Verbally attack McEwen (less points)? Same goes for Graeme Brown.
5. At which exact stage, during commentary (not on the stupid pre-race banter between the "Limeys" and the "Yanks"), will Phil use the phrase "suitcase of courage"?
6. First doping positive
7. First rider to do a "Kessler" or "Schleck" -- over the guardrail -- but must emerge basically ok and continue racing (otherwise it's schadenfreude to award points here and in bad taste)
Ah these are lame, suggestions are welcome. I guess I'm just desperate to make this race more interesting...Giro, I fear, is now twice the race in terms of drama and excitement than the TdF.
