Damn, I'm also looking but can't find any usefull info. I went to a bikeshop today and looked at one if that helps?? I was comparing it to a Mongoose McCann 06' and it felt about the same weight although the McCann had loads on Snafu stuff on it and is like 100 quit more in price.

I really don't know what bike to get chaps but I have around the same budget as you and i'm goin to look at: Wethepeople - Darkness and a GT - fueler tommorow.

I really wish there was more info for people who are looking to get into BMX with a mid level bike as it is pointless getting a cheap steel one.... you won't learn anything exept hot to bunnyhop 3 inches off the ground and thats if your really strong. Bit over the top but you get my point.

Please give us some positve and productive info.

I'm looking for a freestly bike for some street and a bit of park/ramp activity.. maybe a little bit of dirt.

budget is 300 pound sterling so around $430.

What would you buy?

Duderino, you'll notice you opened a thread that's been dormant for over 2 years. Probably best to just start a new one at that point.

Cheers, I didnt want to start a new one until I was asked to as I read the Nebie rules sticky. But yes I did think a 2 year old thread might be an exeption.

It's the '06 Volume - Black sheep.

I have seen it at a bike store and had it in one hand and a '06 mongoose mccann in the other and they seemed about the same in weight. The mongoose had loads of snafu stuff on it and a better back wheel but there is a hundred pound sterling difference!?!?

The volume is like 200 pounds which is um $285 for that spec above.. seems like a great deal but the fella in the shop said that the Volume is made by the same company as mongoose!?

The "05 McCann had an Odyssey back wheel, and good parts, i can only imagine the stuff they have on it this year, im sorry buddy, but i think that you should have gotten the Mongoose, especially if it was loaded with SNAFU parts and still running that Odyssey hub...

OOO thats even better as I can still get the '05 McCann for a good price! I'll have to go to 2 different bike shops and compare the 05' and 06' the fella in the bike shop said that the 05' won't have a oddessy rear wheel and that they cost like 80 quid so like $120 or something. But to be fair I would belive you over him.

So those Mongeese are ok the like the mcCann, fuzz and RAF???
