Hi,
Everyone calls me Twiggy, though my friends call me Sam.
I'm from the UK, in the Midlands to be more exact. I ride a mixtie frame that I suspect is as old as me. It was given to my parents over a decade by our neighbours and had been sitting unloved, until I found it recently.
I'm still working on it, buying bits to fix it up. I've heard people say terrible things about mixtie style frames, that they are heavy, it's a good bike, but old enough the branding is illegible. Plus it's lighter than a diamond frame bike ten years it's junior (at the very least). The only lighter bike I've had much experience with is a friend's fixie...
I <3 fixies
Other bits and pieces. 24, engineer, lgbt, anti-helmet enforcement, bassist, lil geeky.
