Since this is the 50+ forum an unabashed plug for the biking portion of the Alaska Senior Games is in order. This is a Friendly comptetition by age bracket for everyone age 50 or better. This year the competition also can qualify you for the National Senior Games to be held in the San Francisco area next August.
I never heard of the Senior Games until last August. What I found was that they are not very well advertised. Competiton is by age bracket. The competitors are a blast to be around. And I was introduced to biking as a hobby. Wonderful!
This year Cycling is on August 15 and 16. Mountain Biking is on August 14. Come join us for fun time in the North.
