Has anybody ordered items from this place? I'm surprised that they haven't been mentioned yet.

I've had excellent service with Price Point. Items get shipped very fast (they are located in California and I am in the Midwest and I get my stuff within a couple of days). They have great deals, too. (I got a "last year's model" $80 Bell helmet for $29.95, for example). I have been ordering from them since 2001 and never had any problems with them, they're very reliable. I really recommend them!

I'm not sure but I remember they started out with mainly mountain bike stuff with a "token" road presence but of course now it's in equal amounts (road and mtn).

Yeah, Price Point is great. My favorite online retailer so far. Well, for mountain bike goods. Nobody can beat NewEgg!

Price Point gets the great majority of my business -- heck, right now I'm waiting on a shipment (UPS weather delay)!

The ONLY thing I would say is a word of caution about the Sette house brand -- the shoes I ordered from them, same price as what I paid for my 661's before (nobody had my size when I went to replace 'em!), but they never fit as well, and they have lasted half as long -- about to be retired. Now the seatposts have been good....

For a dissenting opinion - My one experience a few years ago with them was terrible. I was trying to finish building a bike and ordered some parts from them, one of which was a headset. The parts arrived minus the headset, which was out of stock. I tried contacting them to change my order (I really needed to get the build done) via email about 20 times (honestly) and the only way I was able to get a response finally was to email their human resources contact and plead my case to have someone respond to me. I've been at this game for almost 30 years and have dealt with a lot of folks (good and bad) and Price Point is one outfit that will never see a dollar of mine again and I take every chance I can to tell others about their amazing lack of customer service.

Price point is a great place to order from. Not the greatest selection, but killer prices and good CS.

Always get my tubes from them and occasionally other stuff. Have always offered great service.

Price Point has some really low prices on their house brand shorts and jerseys. $25 for 8-panel shorts and $20 for basic jerseys. At those prices I suppose I wouldn't expect great quality. Has any one tried them?

I had a good experience with them. Among some other items, I ordered a pair of jerseys, $35 for the pair and didn't expect top quality, but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised. They're plain, solid colors, but appear to be pretty decent quality.

I also ordered a tool kit from them. One of the items, an inexpensive chain washer, was missing, so I called them. It was pretty easy getting to a "real person", and the guy sent me a better washer made by Park Tool, no charge.

I built several bikes with some of their closeouts.

Price point were good in part that they shipped my items correctly and such. But why is it that I feel they are ignoring my emails for customer service help? I have sent several emails (about a week apart) and feel I will never get a response. Shops online need to start improving their customer service, just because we can't get to their store in person doesn't mean you are off the hook. Bad customer service. Sluggishly slow responses (if they even do respond in the first place) make the customer feel very neglected. Thumbs down for price point.

Price Point shipped faster than just about anyone I have dealt with so far. Two days from CA to IL and for this particular item, a RockShox Tora fork, shipping was free. Best price I could find too. Nothing to complain about here.

I buy from them all the time. Great place for tubes in particular. Loved their recent free shipping sale.

Price Point is a great place especially for closeout prices as is JensonUSA; between the two of those they get the majority of my business.

I'm happy with them, they have some unusual items, like the Park Tool service manual. Last order was sl-oo-oo-w, maybe they held it for an item out of stock?

Ignore for customer service and the part of Price Point? I haven't had to use their customer service because everything I've ordered so far is what I ordered, and any warranty issues I would just go through the items company warranty service. So I haven't ever had to be bothered with Price Point or Jenson USA customer service. Both places have always shipped fast.

There's a lot of good places that sell closeout items or reduce pricing on various items, you just have to shop which the internet makes that fast. Amazon is good starting point, Nigara Cycles have stuff other shops don't carry especially Nitto stuff at reduced prices, Campionecycles.com has good prices on a limited bases to stock on hand.

They have good prices, but I had some serious trouble with them and credit card security. Long story short - my numbers were stolen from Price Point and purchases made from them. They were less than helpful and I had to go through Visa to resolve it.

Every now and then I still buy from them, but it needs to be a significant savings. I only use a re-fillable debit card now.
