There might be a cure for emphysema, but there's none for stupidity.

Yes, stupid is the cause of drug addiction.

Funny thing, tobacco can do the same thing to you.
Yeah, arrogance and ignorance seem to be lifelong maladies as well.

Anything with a nervous system complex enough to figure out how to mess with it will try to mess with it. Bears have been observed
fermenting fruit, birds will sometimes preferentially eat fermented fruit. There's a hundred other examples...
The question is always what do we want to do about. The sensible approach
is treatment when things go wrong.

It would seem that Lucifer is having a very hard time collecting on this contract!
Poor guy.
They must have really low standards down there, these contracts are being given out like Pez.

"Those who were more likely to relapse in the first year after completing the program were also less able to complete tasks involving cognitive skills and less able to adjust to new rules quickly. This suggested that those patients might also be less adept at using analytical areas of the brain while performing decision-making tasks"
In short, she's stupid

nope, it can be managed, but there is no cure.

I liked this quote by Amy's father in the original article:
"I'm saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they've got to take responsibility," he said.
If the dealers were responsible, they wouldn't be dealing to anybody.

Amy Winehouse is already one of the greats. No one deserves emphysema, that is an awful way to live and die. I've seen it--you suffocate.
Amy, next time they say to go to rehab, you need to say yeah, yeah, yeah. And buy a pack of nicorette on the way.
I'm sorry, i forgot where i said that. Could you direct me to it please?
Actually I read into your statement. I thought you were implying it was not her fault she was hooked on crack because she has a disease, thus relieving her of her responsibility. I really did read into your statement. So does she have some responsibility for being a crack head, or do the dope dealers bear the blame.

I don't think you should write off people like this. Every human life has value.
Edit: Well there are some exceptions like child molestors I will admit, but this isn't one of those exceptions.

I wonder what is so irratating about her. Why does it just kinda make people angry when rich people throw their lives away? I really dont know, something to do with wasting stuff. Maybe like when I watched a rich guy I know trash a very nice pick up truck. Kinda po'd me. It was his truck to do to it as he wished, but it just seem wrong. If it was not for the trust fund the idiot would already be broke.

I think she is talented. I like her music, but the way she is flushing her life down the toilet... is just very very sad. Some of the youtube clips of her performing drunk and high are just pathetic! At this rate she'll be dead long before she's thirty.

Well, I may not like her music, but I really am not anxious to see her follow in the footsteps of people like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Bon Scott, Keith Moon, or an endless parade of other names.

Why are we even discussing common sense in her case? It's about getting headlines, and she's been doing it the easy way for the past few years.
