Does anyone know of a good place to go off-road with a cyclocross bike in and around Edinburgh? Nothing too strenuous!

I was at Beecraigs country park this morning. Its near Linlithgow. A fabulous variety of tarmac, forest track, trees, roots, mud, grass, hard packed or gravelly surfaces. Uphills or down, and not as severely hilly as the Pentlands. Go early-ish and you should avoid the majority of dog walkers and ramblers.
