I am getting ready to spend a week at the beach and was contemplating taking my bike with me but riding up and down the island has gotten a bit boring year after year plus I think it is only about 20 miles. Does anyone know of any 40-50+ mile routes in the area that would not be on high traffic roads? Thanks.

I have been riding the island for a few years now. It is 36 miles round trip from end to end. Yes it does get boring towards the end of the summer. If you get off the island you can ride through the Pine Barrens. There are quite a few roads that are not heavily traveled. I live in Marlton and ride to Chatsworth quite often. It is about 45 to 50 miles round trip for me. You can ride to Batso Village and all around there also. The island you are pretty much stuck on it.
