Southeast - July 4th weekend rides in Georgia

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Any good organized rides this weekend? I live up in the Suwanee area but I'll drive to get to one.

I agree with you 200%. I have been on the web for a week, looking for rides. It's rare for me to have a real day off, especially just for me and riding. I am looking forward to the 4th, I really need the miles. I live in Buford, and will either be riding in my own arena or taking a trip to the Silver Comet Trail. I haven't found anything in the entire GA market for this week.

No organized rides but someone usually posts a ride there. Most rides posted are on the west side of Atlanta out in Hiram or Rockmart. Many low traffic country roads out there.

I may hit the Silver Comet as well. Havent been there in a long time. I figure early Friday morning might be pretty quiet there.

No organized rides? TRUE, organizing cyclists is like herding cats.
