Snowing? or just a lot of Quartz in the soil around there.....
Try using the Heal tool instead of the Clone tool in Photoshop. You can see very obvious patches where the white stones are repeated. Another option is to go through with Clone, Clone the dirt, then camouflage the repeated stones with dirt. ;)
