Recently I purchased my first cross bike and am interested in getting a new crankset.

Would I run the same length crank arms as my road bike (172.5mm), or go a little longer such as what's on my mountain bike (175mm)?

Although I'm a neophyte in the world of cyclo cross, I'd be using the bike for racing and winter riding/commuting.

I also use a 172.5 on the road, but run 175s for cross and MTB.
